PKM members of PKK in Cinere and Gandul sub-districts of Depok West Java were conducted by Didi Zainuddin, Elfitria Wiratmani, Ridwan Usman from the Department of Industrial Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and Computer Science, PT Indraprasta University. Through the PKK organization we introduce members' creativity development skills, especially how to package products to be sold, especially traditional foods or regional specialties. The problem faced by the PKK members of Cinere and Jakarta City barren is the lack of packaging of cakes, fried foods and snacks, so that the effect on the lack of maximum sales. The implementation of this community service activity is carried out through the observation stage of determining the material needed from product development and marketing itself. Community service with PKK cinere and barren members conducts workshops on understanding and product development materials in packaging and marketing. with the large number of participants present from surrounding residents and members of the PKK Organization activities adding skills, knowledge and results are very useful especially how to present products that appeal to consumers according to their wants and needs.

The aim of the activity is to increase the competence of teachers and students by training Arduino-based practice modules in the implementation of digital and communication systems that have multi-input and multi-output devices. Partner problems are industry technology 4.0 and teacher competence. Industry 4.0 technology issues are implemented in practical training modules that are useful as learning media that can be implemented for various applications. The problem of teacher competence with training and development of learning media so as to be able to create and innovate in digital and communication systems. The method used in this activity is discussion, explanation, demonstration, exercise, and observation. The results of this activity increase the competence and knowledge of vocational schools by marked the participants are able to operate and implement modules.

The greater the demands to make graduates with adequate skills, qualified instructors need to be prepared, as well as possessing good skills. One of the skills that need to be possessed by vocational school teachers in the fields of electricity, electricity and automation is mechatronics. Based on needs analysis and discussion with partners, 3 (three) main problems were identified, namely: (1) Teachers still often use the lecture method, so students become passive and result in low student competency in mechatronic subjects. (2) The condition of school facilities and infrastructure is still inadequate resulting in reduced interest and motivation of students in participating in learning. (3) The use of mechatronics learning media by teachers is less than optimal resulting in students' creativity in solving problems not appearing. The survey results of this community service implementation team found that Balikpapan vocational school teachers in engineering require mechatronics skills in using the Programable Logic Controller (PLC) related to making models, designing programs and programming them according to the needs of the teaching and learning process to anticipate technological progress in the field of control . Based on the problem, a Mechatronics Competency Enhancement training for Balikpapan Vocational Students was held, regarding PLC skills. The results of the activities carried out can be drawn several conclusions, among them (1) community service activities carried out in the form of Programable Logic Controller (PLC) skills training to be able to make models, design programs and program their own PLCs according to the learning process needs, (2) This activity was carried out on July 25-27 2019 with representatives from 5 Vocational High Schools in the city of Balikpapan. Along with the development of technology, the quality of education is a benchmark to produce graduates who have knowledge and skills who are able to be competitive in the world of industry according to their fields of expertise. One of the supporting factors that can improve the quality of education is the presentation of quality and innovative teaching materials to trigger students' interest in learning. The I-Spring application is the solution because this application is able to combine audio, video, music and practice questions in one file, then convert the power point format into an html format that can be presented online at local hotspots. Based on this background, the Balikpapan State Polytechnic Electrical Engineering Department carried out Community Service activities with a training method for making multimedia-based teaching materials. The activity took place in Balikpapan State Middle School 15 and State Vocational High School 6 Balikpapan with 32 participants. The purpose of this training is to improve the competence of the teachers in making interesting and innovative teaching materials, thereby increasing students' interest in learning. The final results in the form of the work of the teachers can present the teaching materials based on I-Spring applications with a success rate of 85%.

The growth of hotel in Balikpapan quickly must be balanced with the improvement of hotel employees’ competence in hospitality industry along with the increasing of foreign countries guest that is needed excellent service in order to fulfill the guests satisfaction. Communication is one of the most importantant aspect while giving excellent service to the guests especially to foreign countries guest that demand all of the hotel employees can communicate in English fluently. The probles that was found for our community service partner was the low English communication competence of hospitality employee therefore they cannot give excellent service. Method that used to solve the problem was done through 4 steps, such as: preparation, problem formulation, implementation that consists of English training and mentoring, and evaluation program. Based on the result of our community service that has followed by 40 hospitality employees, it can be concluded that there is significant progress of English communicative competence for each hospitality employee tha has followed English training and also based on the result of mentoring and evaluation, it is stated that this community service programe through English training for giving excellent service can help hospitality employees to increase their self confidence while communicate with foreign countries guest.

Special Needs Children in SLB Anugerah, Colomadu, Karanganyar, Central Java, are still difficult to practice how to brush teeth correctly and still lack of understanding of oral health, so that the hygiene and dental health status and mouth are still lacking. Therefore it is necessary to fix it. The purpose of this activity is to carry out one component of the Higher Education Tri Dharma that is community service. The benefits of this service are for special needs students to increase their knowledge about oral health and improve their skills in brushing their teeth properly. The dedication method is a lecture on how to maintain dental and oral health as well as the practice of brushing teeth along with the target audience, all Special Needs Children in SLB Anugerah, Colomadu, Karanganyar. A total of 52 people were present. The results of the dedication showed that 42.3% of the targets were able to practice brushing teeth with enough categories and 57.7% were still in the poor category. Meanwhile, no one has been categorized as good. The conclusion of this dedication is, the practice of brushing Special Needs Children teeth in SLB Colomadu, Karanganyar is still in the category of sufficient and insufficient so that it is necessary to follow up this service activity by involving parents at home in monitoring the maintenance of dental and oral health of Special Needs Children.

Basic education is very important for the next generation of the nation. A growing era requires educators to implement creative and innovative learning strategies. Basic education that is centered on elementary students is the center of attention, often mathematics lessons become a heavy scourge for elementary students. Therefore, learning mathematics in elementary students also requires learning strategies that are different from before. The purpose of the Rumah Matematika (RuMat) program for the community especially elementary students is to change the mindset of mathematics lessons that often scourge students into fun lessons by applying the Card Relay Method. The method is more in the form of a game so students can absorb knowledge while playing. With Rumah Matematika (RuMat) program, students will be more interested in learning basic mathematics in a more fun way.

Lack of knowledge both theoretically and practically issue of benefits, functionalitty and how to make organic fertilizer to make the most of Tenggerwetan villager, Kerek use cow manure as a main ingredient to increase their agricultural output. Society / farmers do not quite understand how to make compost from cow manure fermented with EM4 and Semanggi. Based on data obtained through direct observation and interviews with Tenggerwetan villagers, the authors took the initiative to conduct counseling and training on how to make organic fertilizer from cow dung using the main ingredients of EM4 plus other materials that are around the residents. The choice of cow dung as an alternative to making organic fertilizer because the average citizen keeps cattle as livestock, besides that so far there have been residents who use cow dung as fertilizer. However, due to lack of knowledge, the Tenggerwetan farmer actually made a fatal mistake for direct mix unprocessed manure to agricultural land.. As a consequence it actually makes the disease in plants that they are familiar with the name "brendol root". This dedication activity took approximately 14 hours starting from the socialization stage, ensuring the availability of key ingredients and fertilizer-making media to direct practice with residents. As a result, residents began to realize the benefits of organic fertilizer. Eventually the residents realized that the use of organic fertilizer was more cost-effective and interested in starting to utilize cow manure fermentation as a media for soil fertility.

In general, the main factor of the many casualties, damage and losses arising from disasters is the lack of understanding and awareness of the community, especially regarding how to prevent and deal with fire hazards. One of the fundamental efforts to increase awareness and awareness to foster a culture of alert is to conduct socialization activities, and preparedness exercises. The implementation of special awareness raising and preparedness exercises also involves vulnerable groups, such as children, the elderly and homeless, persons with disabilities and people with special needs. So that it is deemed necessary in the implementation of community service this time to socialize efforts to prevent and combat fire hazards to all teaching staff, school officials and Special Case School in Balikpapan. The program was held for 1 day, April 26, 2019. Cooperation between the community service teams at the University of Balikpapan was very good so that efforts to increase the understanding of teachers and students regarding the efforts that could be made to prevent and overcome the danger of fire could proceed with well.

‘The purpose of this community service program is to help and enhance environmental conservation efforts that are more effective, efficient, and targeted for schools in the karst region in creating a healthy environment free of air pollution. The problem faced by partners is the lack of school participation in the karst area to deal with the increasing dust volume in the dry season which can disrupt teaching and learning activities. Low school participation is due to a lack of student and teacher knowledge about air-purifying plants that can be planted in the school environment. The solution offered to school partners as a first step is to hold a workshop to introduce karst areas and plant species that are useful as air purifiers. The implementation of the workshops that have been carried out can increase the understanding of students and teachers about the condition of the school environment, types of air purification plants, and the use of used materials for growing media. The monitoring results show that the partner schools namely SMAN 1 Plumpang and SMAN 1 Rengel have implemented the results of the workshop, namely by planting various air purification plants by utilizing used materials as planting media so as to achieve a beautiful environment and environmental conservation in the karst school area running well.
